Simon Kansembe was born to Wilfred and Christine in Kitwe, Zambia in 1981. He is the last born in a family of four, growing up in the township of Mungwi in the Northern part of Zambia.

Introduced to reading novels by his cousin Harriet in 8th grade, Simon’s passion for art has spanned multiple disciplines including composing music, playing piano, baking, and script writing.

He has recently revisited his love for art through creative writing.

Simon is a husband and father of three, and a seasoned banker with eleven years of experience in the banking industry.

A Thin Line Between Love and Lust is Simon’s first fiction book.
