About the Author

Mofya Kelvin Chikwanda is the author of "CONVICTIONED: Mind, Soul and Heart" and a highly accomplished martial artist. He is a Fourth Dan (Shihan, meaning master) in Shorin Ryu, and holds First Dan black belts in Goju Ryu, Jujutsu, and Kubondo weaponry style of Okinawa, Japan.

Background

A Zambian from Muchinga Province, Mofya was born and raised in the Copperbelt mine town of Kalulushi in the late 1960s. The firstborn in a family of 18, he now resides in Lusaka with his wife and their six children — three boys and three girls. He completed his O-levels before embarking on his diverse life journey.

Writing Journey

His passion for writing grew out of a love for reading books of all genres, including inspirational, entertaining, enlightening, motivational, cultural, traditional, and spiritual works. As a new author, he remains steadfast and focused, aiming to inspire readers by proving the positive gains and benefits of reading — as he says, "Wisdom is comprehensive knowledge put into practice."

Hobbies and Projects

Beyond writing, Mofya’s hobbies include Bible study and physical training. His recent project, "CONVICTIONED Brand", serves as the anchor for his future creative and literary commitments.
