He serves as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts, where he merges artistic insight with public policy to advance Zambia’s creative and cultural industries.
Early Life
Born in 1984 in Ndola on the Copperbelt, he is the second-born in a family of four boys. His upbringing shaped his critical voice and commitment to social justice.
Literary and Artistic Contribution
A 2018 Inequality Fellow, Chama’s work confronts inequality, governance, and national consciousness. His book The Tyranny of Stupidity is a bold philosophical reflection on leadership, intellect, and national unity.
