Our Publishing Process

Please note that the publishing process is unique for each work and therefore the costs associated with it can vary. However, we can provide you with a general overview of the SOTRANE Publishers publishing process:

Idea for the Book

You start by developing an initial concept or core idea for your new manuscript.

Consultation

A strategic discussion with a SOTRANE consultant to explore and refine your book idea.

Proposal Form

Complete the Book Proposal Form detailing genre, target audience, and market potential.

Proposal Assessment

SOTRANE assesses your proposal and may request a full Manuscript Appraisal.

Manuscript Appraisal

If requested, your content, language, and marketability are evaluated against brand standards.

Decision to Publish

Based on the appraisal results, SOTRANE makes the official decision to proceed with publishing.

Technical Services

Submission of the manuscript for typesetting, graphic design, professional editing, and proofreading.

Contract

Once accepted, you enter into a formal publishing agreement with SOTRANE Publishers.

Review Proofs

You review the final proofs of your book and make any necessary last-minute revisions.

Production

The approved book goes into production, including physical printing and/or eBook formatting.

Publication

The book is officially published and made available to the public in print and/or digital formats.

Marketing & Sales

SOTRANE Publishers executes marketing strategies to promote sales and visibility.

ISBN and Barcode	Cover Design	Typesetting	Proofreading
The cost for obtaining an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is around ZMW 215.	The cost for cover design can range from ZMW 500 to ZMW 2,500, depending on the complexity and requirements.	Typesetting services can cost between ZMW 500 and ZMW 5,000, depending on the length and complexity of the manuscript.	It is important to note that editing and proofreading costs are based on the assessment of each individual work and will be determined based on the specific requirements of your manuscript.

Note: There may be additional costs for fulfilling other statutory requirements which can vary depending on the specific needs of your book. If you only require printing services, please provide us with the book size, number of pages, color specifications (if applicable), and the desired quantity.
