
Samson M’zizi Kantini (PhD)
My name is Samson M’zizi Kantini, a poet, researcher, and advisor with over a decade of experience in academic teaching and UNESCO-related cultural work for the Government of Zambia.
Background/Education
I hold a Doctorate in Education from Seoul National University, along with multiple Masters and a Bachelor’s degree from University of Zambia. I am also certified in Diplomacy and hold a Bible diploma.
Inspiration
My writing and research aim to empower marginalized groups through local and indigenous knowledge systems. Criticism is a tool for my growth, not an obstacle.
Hobbies
Beyond academic work, I engage in family activities, travel, missionary work, and music. I passionately promote indigenous African cultures and Christian faith.
Past Projects
Led Zambia’s youth arts delegation to the UK, published poetry from prison projects, and authored works on Kalindula music and Zambia’s traditional ceremonies. Currently working on a book about Kuyabila poetry.
