My name is Sunday Mwape, an author and theologian with expertise in development and marriage counseling. I focus on wholeness in resource-constrained environments, bridging divides between rich and poor, secular and spiritual, theory and practice.
Background/Education
I hold a PhD and Master of Education in Literacy and Development from Zambian Open University, and a Bachelor’s in Special Education & Religious Studies from University of Zambia. I also earned a Diploma in Theology from Global University, and multiple certifications in diplomacy and education.
Work Experience
I have 26+ years experience across government roles including Director for National Guidance, Curriculum, and Early Childhood Education, DEBS for Kabwe/Kapiri, and more. My career spans education, governance, and spiritual leadership.
Inspiration
My work promotes epistemic justice and indigenous knowledge. I welcome critique as a tool for refinement, contributing to inclusive and equitable narratives.
Hobbies
I support literacy initiatives, counsel families, and lead wellness through Bukata Family Wellness Foundation. As a “Shibukombe” and “Ichimbusa”, I mentor and guide couples in their life journeys.
Projects
I provide premarital and post-marital counseling, lead mentorship programs, and serve as a pastoral leader. My goal is to foster strong families, empathy, and sustainable communities.
