My name is Martin Soko, a writer and aspiring filmmaker from Zambia, living in Woodlands. I am a creative storyteller and passionate about heartfelt storytelling.

Background

I grew up in Chelstone and moved to Woodlands in 2018. I developed my passion for storytelling when I joined the school drama club in grade 11.

Inspiration

I write non-fictional stories based on real-life situations. Writing helps me express ideas, messages, and experiences creatively and truthfully.

Hobbies

I also act and engage in theatre activities. I have written two short films for the Green Buffaloes Theatre Club and am preparing to publish my book titled "Imagine a Zambia Without Gender-Based Violence".
