My name is Laika Sarah Phiri, and I am a shy person who doesn't easily make friends. I am 12 years old and live in Lusaka, Zambia. I am doing my Form 1 at Tick Private School. I am passionate about writing , and I’ve written children's stories like MWEMBE the Tree and CHITU THE Rabbit as well as a short religious story which earned me the first prize in a short story writing competition in 2024.

I enjoy writing and reading fiction and religious stories. Writing brings me joy, helps with my creativity, and improves my spelling. My love for stories and my desire to express myself inspires me to find my unique voice. I always try to focus on the positive side of everything I do and to help build self esteem.

Apart from writing and schooling, I love participating in church activities, especially going to Pathfinder club. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and siblings, baking, and making dresses for my dolls.
