FITABO International Book Fair 2026
FIBF 2026 HIGHLIGHTS
Three days of books, readers, authors and the conversations between them, as the fair's photographers saw it.

A fair made by the people who came to it
For three days in April, the FITABO International Book Fair turned Alliance Française de Lusaka into a meeting place for everyone with a stake in books. Authors and publishers set out their work, students filled the auditorium, entrepreneurs and institutions compared notes, and readers of every age came to browse, listen and ask their own questions.
Organised by Sotrane Publishers, the fair exists to celebrate literature, to encourage the collaboration that gets good books written, published and read, and to help a reading culture take deeper root. These photographs are a record of what that looked like.

Thank you
To everyone who made FIBF 2026
To the authors who shared their work, the publishers and exhibitors who filled the tables, the students who asked the sharpest questions, the speakers, partners and volunteers, and every reader who came through the doors: thank you. A book only becomes something when it meets a reader, and for three days that happened again and again.
